I am a full on newbie at app building and coding so please be gentle with explanations.
I am the guy who tracks sickness and absences at our work place and I have come up with a spreadsheet which uses the Bradford Factor when I input any data when staff are on sick/absent from work. I would love to be able to take this away from the pc (as shift managers can log in and view this document) and have it on my phone (as well as my managers). I would like it so that when I (or my manager) logs in to the app, each member of staff has their own profile which we can click and see the following information:
1. Their name.
2. When they started work.
3. If their probation period is over (I would like this to go from No to Yes automatically when it has reached the date of it finishing. Either 3 months or 6 months).
4. Bradford Factor points total (this is worked out by a small calculation from their absence data that me/my manager would input on a daily basis). This would also change colour when the employee reaches certain trigger points based on how many days they work.
5. What dates/days they had off and the total number of days in each period.
Now, there is quite a bit of data I would like to input for each sickness/absence:
Week date (say, 05/05/14-11/05/14)
Days of that week (Mon, Tues & Weds)
No. of working days off (2 as weds was a day off anyway)
No. of instances (in this case 1. If it was Mon sick, tues work, weds sick, then it would be 2 instances. If it went from sun to tues then it would count as 2 instances as it brings in a new week)
Reason (Sickness & Diarrhoea or No Show)
Trigger points (1. SBIC Form, 2. Written warning, 3. Final, 4. Dismissal)
It would be great if the trigger points showed as different colours and alerted us when each point was reached. And when in the list of employees, it would highlight any employees at trigger points.
I know it's a very big description and I'm sorry if I have gone in to too much detail for a first post but I would really like to get this built and I have looked everywhere.
Many thanks for any help or advice.
