Word Wrap on an Ebook?

I'm trying to setup a lengthy ebook as part of our app. I uploaded the content, but it won't resize the text or wrap the text to fit the screen. Instead it just shows up extremely tiny. 

Is this possibly because the original file was in word and to preserve formatting, I saved the word file as a html file and got the source from there? Is there a different/better solution?
