publishing an application
Hi, I have some questions about publishing the applications. I am very new to all this so please be patient with me. As I understood once the application is made, to be able to publish it first I need to sign up for the Iphone Developer Program. Is that right? Once I sign up for the Iphone Developer Program, pay their fee, will I be able to publish as many applications as I need or do I need to pay a fee every time I publish a new application? Is there any other fee involved when publishing an application, like a monthly fee or a download fee? Thank you very much for your help!

Is it possible to publish my app for free to just a few people? I am not really interested in paying for the Apple Developer Program, right now. This app is still in testing and have looked for other similar services that claim to be free, but this one seems to be very pratical and honest with their members. I love the way we can freely design our app with so much simplicity. If you could please let me know. Thank you!

Thank you, but I currently do not have a Mac Computer as I am using Windows.
My other issue is that when I upload an image for either a logo, this message shows:
Connection error occured. Possible reasons: slow Internet connection (low uploading speed); large file size (more than 1MB).
Now, I know that my photo is at least 113kb and my computer internet is with AT&T; so my computer isn't slow. Is any alternative to uploading the image? -
try again or try using diffferent browser.
once in a while we get some complains that users can't upload an image. could not find the problem. mostly it was a rare thing and disappeared shortly.
as if publishing an app without Mac the instructions are the following:

Hi, I am having issues generating a distribution certificate, I don't own a mac, I have done everything as you stated time and time again however it was all flowing until i got down to .mobileprovision file I keep getting the message below, I don't understand why and how this is happening. Can you please shed some light on this for me . Thanks.
Error Provisioning Profile does not match Distribution CertificateThe signatures for your certificate (.p12 file) and mobile provisioning file are different:
- 1. Either your .mobileprovision file was created for a development certificate instead of distribution;
- 2. or .mobileprovision file was created before the current certificate was registered in iTunes, or it was created under different developer account.
Please remove your .mobileprovision profile and create a new one:
1. On iOS Provisioning Portal, select 'Provisioning' from the left sidebar, then choose 'Distribution' tab and click on the "New Profile" Button:

Al,
here are the instructions on FAQ page http://ibuildapp.com/faq-iphone/#22 and if you use windows http://ibuildapp.com/faq-iphone/#31
I can't provide you with more services as our support engineers work on tickets which you can submit from My Apps page against the app that is being published.
