Cant change app after status says submitted

Hi,

I have created an app, have uploaded it to my iphone for testing and all is working great, but I want to tweak some of the images, colours and links that don't seem to work in the way I have imagined. However none of the changes I make save. Is there a way round this as I would like to be able to update the app every few months and at the moment I can't see any way of doing that.

  what do you do that it is not getting saved?
