    Hi Julie,

    1. How can I test the app on my device without officially releasing it via app store?

    >>You should be signed up as iOs developer. The first step towards testing your applications on a real device is to sign up for the iPhone Developer Program at http://developer.apple.com/iphone/program/. There are two programs available – Standard and Enterprise. For most developers wanting to release applications on the App Store, they can simply sign up for the Standard program, which costs US$99.
Please, review this FAQ to know how you create AdHoc build for testing app on your device: http://support.ibuildapp.com/entries/21315393-native-iphone-testing-and-publishing

    2. Can appstore allow adult content? I read a company had success back in 2010, but do you know if it's tolerated now?

    >>You should set up app rating while you are filling all the information about your app on iTunes Connet which regarding to adult content in your app.

    3. Are there ways to distribute app without App store? I read "You can distribute applications using ad hoc without going through the app store, but you are limited to a maximum of 100 devices." Is this true? Not sure how Apple would know 100 devices downloaded the app.

    >>You should know UDIDs of all 100 devices, add them on your Apple Developer account, generate certificates for building your app and build it on our site. After this you will be able to download and install app on all device which UDIDs you have set up at your Apple Dev account on iOS Provisioning Portal.

Please, submit ticket at dashboard page of your app, our support engineer will help you to create AdHoc build of your app for testing it on real device.

    Regards,
    Ekaterina
