Hi Rafael-
I'm a graphic designer and new app developer who submitted an app here for my client, Kevin Sekhani Music. This is the first and only app I have done. I paid the $99 to Apple to become a developer and submitted it here via iBuild on June 14. It has been listed as "Status: Submitted" for 3 months now. I contacted Apple's app dev team and they said they have no record of it being submitted to them and that they are "unfamiliar with iBuildApp." The only record they have of this app is when I got the certificate in June. So then I emailed the iBuild support team 6 weeks ago asking what is going on with this app, and have still received no reply. Meanwhile my client Kevin keeps asking me what is the holdup with his app. He is getting very frustrated and I don't want to lose a good design client--and friend--over something out of my control. Can somebody there PLEASE give me an answer about this app? Thanks.

Lisa, this is do it yourself platform. we don't submit your apps to iTunes, android marketplace, it's you, who needs to do that. -
Great, so it's not really "submitted" at all? I did follow all the steps in the FAQ, getting the CSR and stuff from Apple and uploading them here as directed, and I did click the self-publish button as directed, then it said (and still says) that the app had been submitted. Why would it say that if it had not been submitted? I just went and looked at the FAQ again, and I have done everything it said to do. Please explain *exactly* what I need to do next to get the app actually submitted since now it apparently isn't actually really submitted, even though it has said "submitted" for 3 months. This is so frustrating. I'm just a graphic designer whose client starting building this here himself, then he asked me to finish it, and now I'm out $100 and have an angry client and just need to know what I need to do now to get this done and overwith. Telling me it's DIY and that I have to "download files from the website" or might need a new template isn't specific enough to be any help. We used the Music template, and I have all the CSR/etc stuff from Apple. What--specifically--do I need to do now to "really" submit it to Apple?

Its submitted to ibuildapp, then you will see the download build links for either ios or android, that is on the "my apps" page, you download the builds then submit to apple (or android market). Not sure what else to say really, the FAQ's explain pretty much everything and the download links show after a few minutes of submitting (on the My Apps page)...

Lisa, as I told you on my previous post you need to publish the app at your own. You said you read the FAQ section and next asking what to do. I am very much surprised! we don't do that for you. otherwise if you want us to publish your app for you we charge $199 for our manual service.

So I have an idea for an app and I don't think I'm capable of making even the most basic app on here. I don't wish to make money off of it just be able to use it for free! Is there anyone that would make an app on request?
It might be a rather complicated app but I don't know anything about making them. A "Garden Planner" of sorts. I want to be able to draw a diagram of my garden/flowerbed. It needs to be able to be round or donut shaped or any shape i might want my flower bed to be. All diagrams should be on a 1ft. by 1ft grid. Then be able to "add" a flower/vegetable/shrub (from some website?) complete with care instructions. Add and see the plant, or a circle with the picture of the plant in my garden diagram. These added plants could show how close other plants can be planted and weather they'll get enough sun under that tree you're trying to plant them beside. These added flowers would also link to some sort of "to-do" list that keeps track of when they should be watered, fertilized, replanted, etc. Also be able to add a spot to garden where chosen plant will go linked to to-do list which tells you when to start seeds and when to plant. this feature also would be used for annuals. Be able to set app for what growing zone you're in and be linked to a weather app that keeps track of wether it's rained so you dont have to water today or if it's going to freeze and you need to go protect certain flowers. multiple other pages: a list of flowers to buy, prices and all info linked; yield and canning for vegetables; each plant you add should have its own page when clicked on that has all info and space for plenty of notes and ability to upload your own pictures; also be able to upload pictures to each garden/flowerbed's page; a very amazing option would be if you could take a picture of a plant and the app could identify it for you or if you put in leaf type, growing conditions, description of fruit etc to identify it; another idea maybe a link to BHG garden plans; a archives where each years info can be saved; All of these features are available in other apps but i would have to download and use 5 at once to get all the options! :(

If I join Ibuildapp and make some apps and then after a few months or a year I can not afford to continue paying, what will happen to my already created apps in the App stores etc.?
Plus if I purchased a while label option, will that option still be there?
Will the apps still work?
Thanks

Hi the size of dashboard when I manage my template of app is not enough. How can I adjust it.? when looked at from phone, the dashboard has blank and could not adjust at your platform, even blank space is bigger from the other big screen phone. Please see the picture attached here. Urgent! Thanks a lot.

Dear Lee, we are sorry for such a long delay with answering your question. Unfortunately, there is known issue with app displaying on iOS/Android devices with large screen: app homepage always being stretched on such phones and we don't have solution to fix this situation now. We will try to find better way to fix that soon.

I have an app that is on business plan and has been published to iTunes and Android market successfully. Since we did our first version that was a bit of a learning curve we have done a second app but with a different template we created that has basically all our previous information but is better laid out. My question is it possible to apply the template we created to our existing app or how do we submit the new version to app market to replace the existing.

Hello, Cliff.
Each template is unique enough so you can't simple switch templates in the current edition. As of now it's impossible to change template once an app is started being designed.
You have to create new app on our site based on needed template and then you can publish it on App Stores.
This new app can be submitted as new version of published app on Apple Store, but on Google Play you have to publish it as additional, new app because of specific restrictions on Play Store market.
