are talking about password protection? we will have to review this against a possibility of having apple to reject apps that sell access on web site to the content protected by login

    Hi,

If I create a rss stream of html page behind a .htaccess file to provide "secure" content is there a way to provide a userid/passwd to the request?

Anyway it's deep integration with a database and more custom development..

Or some identifier where the person opens the app and it recognises their name. "Welcome John" or something like that

we talked about password/login a few times.
we would have to provide individual small group login for each of you in this case for your users. will have to charge $20-30 per month for each such feature..
not sure if it worth it to develop,.

Jan, we don't have it in our plans.

what sense in login without deep password protected/member area? Apple will reject it

or do you have a web site with thousands members and member exclusive area?

thanks for your feedback. i am asked by companies to create apps that can only be opened by employees of this specific company. a passwort is the only option so far we could find.

we can create a widget for you, but it doesn't make sense without integrating with your API/database. it's separate work. contact us if you need custom widget

thanks. please provide me with a quote. i just need one password per app. for example 500 users can all use one passwort which i set. i give the whole company one login, no matter how many users share it...

Would love it we could password protect and encrypt that password for selected sections of the app.

    Thank you.

Please refer to the login widget we've implemented earlier this year into our marketplace.
